Description Under direct supervision this position is
accountable to the bedside RN to facilitate a safe and secure
environment for the patient, family and providers in the
department. Responsible for the completion of the duties delegated
to them for the shift and maintaining clear communication between
the patient and the RN. These activities focus on maintaining a
safe, hazard free, clean environment which facilitates patient

- Coursework/Training and Completion of Medical Terminology
course required. Or
- Successful completion of hospital Medical terminology test
within 90 days of hire.
- Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart
Association
- 6 months of working with individuals who have mental health
and/or substance abuse disorders. Preferred qualifications:
- Coursework/Training and Completed training as a Certified
Nursing Assistant
- Completion of CNA program or six months of health care. Why

may be available for this role, such as shift differentials,
