• Oversee construction management of ongoing civil construction project for airfield runway improvements / pavement resurfacing
• Review contractor's Quality Assurance Plan
• Oversee and perform three-phase inspections and surveillance of construction work to ensure compliance with contract and specifications
• Review design, comment logging, and back-checking for Design-Build projects
• Review and comment on the accuracy of the construction contractor's requests for payment
• Review and acknowledge daily reports including verification of the project schedule
• Maintain orderly working files for correspondence, minutes of meetings, payments, updated progress schedules, and punch lists
• Review and process Requests for Information (RFI) and contract documents
• Support construction contract modificationsEducation and Experience:
  • 7+ years of engineering and construction management experience
  • Experience with construction administration and handling large civil works projects
  • Bachelor of Science, required
  • Knowledge/experience in airfield runway improvements and/or pavement resurfacing
  • US Army Corps of Engineering or other federal project experience, preferred
  • Experience with Resident Management System (RMS 3.0), preferred
  • Experience reading construction plans and specifications
  • Good written communication and organizational skillsPhysical Requirements:
    • Physically mobile in and around construction sites and field assignments
