Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Support the Security Information Event Management (SIEM) system
to ensure optimal performance and support the ingestion of new data
sources while reviewing existing data sources.
- Implement Network Access Controls (NAC) to enforce security
policy and monitor the performance and effectiveness of these
controls.
- Maintain the Next-Generation Anti-Virus software to ensure
operational effectiveness and assist in investigations and
remediation where appropriate.
- Implement and support the tuning of Information Security
systems to enhance protection.
- Collaborate with Information Technology staff to review project
designs for security effectiveness.
- Review Firewall and Intrusion Detection Systems, implementing
changes to meet established standards.
- Manage the technical effectiveness of our Single-Sign On
solution and other privileged management tools, including support
for new integrations.
- Assist in testing and developing hardening standards across all
devices with access to Credit Union 1 data.
- Review log sources to ensure they provide sufficient
information to detect suspicious activity and assist in
investigations.
- Design and implement solutions to effectively monitor and
manage Change Control policy and standards.
- Work with project teams to convey Information Security design
considerations associated with IT and business projects.Additional

- Demonstrate support for the corporate mission, vision, and
values.
- Maintain positive working relationships with department
personnel, including management and all employees.
- Meet the current standards established for the department in
completing all assigned duties.
- Participate in every aspect of the Record Retention program,
including creation, identification, use, storage, and destruction
in accordance with policy.
- Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field (Computer
Science, Information Systems, Information Security) or equivalent
experience preferred. Job experience commensurate with educational
equivalent will be considered.
- Minimum of four years of experience in Information Security
required.
- Relevant security certifications such as GCIH, CISSP, OSCP,
etc.
- Prior experience with SIEM tools such as LogRhythm, QRadar, or
Splunk.
- Prior experience with Network Access Control (NAC) solutions
such as ClearPass or CounterAct.
- Prior experience with Firewall technologies such as Cisco,
Juniper, and Palo Alto devices.
- Knowledge of access management and identity management.
- Motivated to continue learning technology and self-learning new
technologies as needed.
- Completion of or active pursuit of certification in Information
Security.
- Must be available for a flexible work schedule including
weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Responsible for complying with the Bank Secrecy Act and
anti-money laundering laws (BSA/AML) and OFAC regulations.Please
