This position reports directly to the General Manager to support contracting and financial efforts.ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions

• Work with the General Manager in business development.
• Oversee many of a business's daily activities.
• Direct and coordinate actions across the organization.
• Locate areas for improvement within various departments.
• Supervise as needed.Knowledge and Critical Skills/Expertise:
  • Advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts. Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of grant and research funding.
  • Ability to develop research and funding plans.
  • Ability to develop evaluation tools.QualificationsRequired Experience:
    • Masters in Science required.
    • 10+ years of experience with science logistics.Physical Demands:
      • Must be able to lift up to 15 to 25 pounds.
      • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time.
      • Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically.
      • Occasional field work and deployment to remote locations may be required.
