• Certification through NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assist) required prior to start
• Alaska State License not accepted when pending, requires proof of application

  • Shift: 4/10 HR 20:45-07;15 M - Th
  • Scrub, NBSTSA HARD STOP: Ortho, general, Neuro and trauma must have 3s and 4s for all skills
  • Position / Specialty: OR Tech
  • Types of Cases REQ: Peds, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics, ortho, general, neuro and trauma
  • Types of Cases Preferred: PEDS, ENT, plastics, robotics

  • Guaranteed Hours: Yes, up to 36 hours. All OR nurses and OR Techs on 12-hour shifts are scheduled for an additional 4 hours to help cover breaks and lunches. 12 hour OR nurses and OR Techs will be guaranteed 40 hours per week.
