TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Long-Term Care RN in Soldotna, Alaska, 99669 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Wellness Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Variable shifts Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours per two weeks Experience: 1 year Long-Term Care (LTC) experience preferred License: RN license Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association Must-Have: - 1 year of LTC experience - BLS certification - RN license Job Description: - Manage individualized, goal-directed nursing care through the use of the nursing process and principles of primary nursing in accordance with departmental policies and standards of nursing practice. - Utilize equipment proficiently, including PC, applicable software, peripheral equipment, and appropriate clinical databases. - Work night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with alternative 12-hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM as needed. - Attend general and specific orientation sessions, including Planetree orientation. - Adhere to the dress code, which requires wearing scrubs. - Adhere to the nurse-to-patient ratios: Days - 1:18, Nights - 1:25. - No floating to other units required. 26015598EXPTEMP Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS - AHA BLS - AHA Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing Each assignment introduces you to new colleagues, mentors, and professionals in the healthcare industry.
