Division: Capstone Family Physicians, a department of Medical Network of AlaskaMNA Delivers leadership, support and guidance to healthcare facilities of all sizes across multiple specialists with the primary goal of providing accessibility, value and quality medical administrative support services.What You'll Do:In this role, you will have the opportunity to build your own patient panel all while enjoying the scenic communities of Alaska.Responds to patients medical problems by referring to their history, carrying out diagnosis, treatment, counseling and referral, if applicable.Ordering lab tests and interpreting the test resultsMaintaining confidentiality and impartiality at all timesCollecting, recording, and maintaining sensitive information such as examination results, medical history and reportsPerform minor surgeriesExplain procedures or prescribed treatments to patientsMeeting targets set by the government for specified treatments e.g. child immunizationsDiscussing and evaluating pharmaceutical products with pharmaceutical representativesKeeping up-to-date with medical developments, treatment and medicationWhat You Need For This Job:Degree in Medicine5-year residencyCurrent state medical license and Federal DEA LicenseMust reside in or near Wasilla, Alaska.Have general knowledge of EMR software and Outlook ProgramsAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.Ability to frequently stand; walk; sit; stoop; kneel; crouch; crawl.Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.What You'll Love About Us:Great Company Culture- We embrace diverse perspectives and prove the freedom to grow, innovate and create.Rest and Relaxation- Enjoy 15 days of paid time off with an increase after five years and six paid holidays!Health Benefits- Access to medical, dental, and vision plans, with HSA and FSA options, as well as short- and long-term disability coverage.
