Job Description:
Description This is a per diem/on call position traveling to see
patients in the Anchorage area. Under the direction of the Hospice
Director or designee and on order of the physician is accountable
for direct and indirect quality care for patients and families of
all ages, according to the individualized needs of the patient,
following the nursing process and in accordance with the Nurse
Practice Act. Accepts professional development as an integral part
of nursing practice. Provides skilled nursing care to patients
living within the service area of hospice. Coordinates patient care
activities with other members of the health care team in a
collegial relationship to promote patient comfort and assist in the
achievement of a comfortable and peaceful death. Upholds the
standards of confidentiality, attendance and punctuality.

Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
- Upon hire: Alaska Registered Nurse License Preferred

are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available
for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call,
