Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room Job Specialty: Operating Room (OR) Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 06:30 AM - 07:00 PM Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Alaska RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Experience as a patient advocate in the circulating role - Ability to be a resource for the sterile field Job Description: - Work within a dynamic Operating Room setting with 11 ORs, delivering direct patient care. - Expected to take on-call shifts, potentially up to 15 shifts per month. Typically, it involves 5-6 weekday call shifts and 1 weekend shift over an 8-week period. - Collaborate with an average team of 8 RNs, 8 Scrub techs, and 5 Surgical support techs during the day. - Work with various OR beds and equipment, utilizing EMR - Epic. - Preferred candidates will have experience as a circulator and scrub nurse, with CNOR certification being a strong advantage. - Undertake procedures like total joints, multi-level spine fusions, and a variety of Xi Robotic cases (GYN, Colorectal, General). Limited ENT, dental, eye, or plastic procedures. - Be a part of a team-oriented environment, demonstrating a positive outlook and readiness to collaborate with team members. - Scrubs will be provided by the facility. Note: This is a weekend position; weekday staff attendance requires participating in the call schedule.
