Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Job Specialty: Operating Room (OR) Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 06:30 AM - 07:00 PM (Three twelve-hour shifts) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Must be certified by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Proficiency with total joints, neuro, and Xi Robots - Positive outlook and teamwork attitude Job Description: - Participate in surgical procedures within a dynamic 11 operating room facility. - Scheduled to take on-call shifts that average 5-6 weekday on-call shifts and 1 weekend shift within an 8-week period. - Day shift typically includes a team of 8 RNs, 8 scrub techs, and 5 surgical support techs. - Night shift consists of one charge RN and one scrub tech in-house with a call team backup. - Engage in a variety of surgical procedures, including total joints, multi-level spine fusions, and a variety of Xi robotic cases such as GYN, colorectal, and general surgeries. - Very limited duties in ENT, Dental, Eyes, and Plastics. - Demonstrate a strong advocacy for patients. - Scrubs are provided by the facility for ease and uniformity.
