Job Title: X-Ray Technician Job Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology - X-Ray Tech Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:00) Guaranteed Hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks Experience: 1 year (First timers accepted) License: Valid State License (Pending license accepted, processing takes 10-12 weeks) Certifications: BLS, ARRT Must-Have: - Skills in ED, Trauma, OR Fluoro, Portable for all ranges Job Description: - Work in an acute hospital setting that is a Magnet Facility and Level II Trauma Center - Participate in the hospital's floating policy within or to nearby affiliate hospitals - Engage willingly to work shifts on weekends - Demonstrate readiness to possibly work during two major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year - Adhere to all facility-specific requirements and protocols, including vaccination mandates - Complete required pre-start and annual training modules, averaging 16 non-billable hours - Perform job duties effectively, with equipment and communication tools provided as necessary - Prioritize patient safety and adhere to best practices in radiology technology Candidates are responsible for securing their own housing, and flexibility in scheduling, such as block scheduling, is considered during employment.
