Today!Job Summary and QualificationsAs a CT Technologist, you will
work with our friendly radiologists assisting with various types of
procedures. There are always opportunities to learn new things and
be challenged in your career. Members of our team consider
themselves a family where each member works hard to support each
other. We are looking for someone who feels patient care is as
meaningful as we do. In this role:
- You will administer both oral and IV contrast; evaluate
patients for any allergic reactions; place correct IV for the exam
being performed.
- You will perform diagnostic computed tomography procedures at a
technical level that does not require direct supervision on
neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric
patients.
- You will perform exams as requested by ordering physicians and
under the guidelines set by the standards of the Diagnostic Imaging
Department.
- You will perform all assigned duties by the Cat Scan
Supervisor, Assistant Director or Director of Diagnostic
Imaging.
- You will operate and understand CT scanning equipment; practice
ALARA standards; understand physician protocols and scan
appropriately.What qualifications you will need:
- Current ARRT required ( Advanced certification in CT must be
obtained within one year of hire)
- Current Radiology Technologist license through the State of
which you will be working.
- Graduation from AMA approved school of Radiologic
Technology.
- Prefer prior CT experience.
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life
Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and CertificationHCA Healthcare's is
